Clapp Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-12

1. Who we are and what you accept

Clapp is a service provided by Senzil, Argentina ("Clapp", "we"). These terms govern the use of the admin app, the API, the booking and customer portals, the widget and Clapp's other services (the "Service").

By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box or using the Service, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you create the account on behalf of a business or company (the "Business"), you represent that you are authorized to bind it; in that case "you" includes the Business.

You must be over 18 and able to enter into contracts to use Clapp. The Service is intended for professional or commercial use.

2. The service

Depending on the modules you turn on and your plan, Clapp lets you:

  • schedule appointments, reservations, classes and resources (rooms, tables, professionals, locations);
  • manage customers, memberships, credits, promotions and customer accounts;
  • run the cash register, record payments and expenses, products and sales, and see reports;
  • publish booking and customer portals, an embeddable widget and custom domains;
  • handle support tickets with workflows and deadlines (SLA);
  • connect third parties (Mercado Pago, ARCA, WhatsApp, Google, shipping companies, Slack, Discord and webhooks);
  • use Clappi, an in-app helper that answers questions about how to use Clapp.

We may add, change or discontinue features to improve the Service. If we remove a substantial feature from a paid plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance.

Clappi gives general guidance on using Clapp. It does not give legal, accounting, tax or medical advice.

3. Your account and your team

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. We recommend turning on two-step verification.

You can invite people from your team and decide what each of them can do. The Business is responsible for the access it grants and for what its users do. Each invited person also accepts these terms by using Clapp.

If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password, close your sessions from My profile and write to soporte@clapp.ar.

4. Plans, prices and payments

There is a free plan with usage limits and paid plans. Prices, limits and what each plan includes are shown in Plan and billing and may vary by country. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in local currency and include the taxes required by the law of that country.

Paid plans are charged monthly in advance through Mercado Pago or another method we enable. Usage beyond what your plan includes is charged according to the published tiers.

You can change plans or go back to the free plan at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; amounts already charged are not refunded unless the law requires it. If a payment fails, we may limit paid features until it is settled and, after notice, move the account to the free plan.

We may change prices with at least 30 days notice. The new price applies from the next period; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Clapp to:

  • carry out illegal or fraudulent activities or infringe the rights of others;
  • send unsolicited communications (spam) by email, WhatsApp or other channels, or messages that breach those channels’ policies;
  • enter personal data without a legal basis to process it, or sensitive data (such as health data) without the authorizations and safeguards the law requires;
  • try to access other businesses’ data, breach security, overload the Service or reverse engineer it;
  • resell the Service without a written agreement with us.

If we detect use that puts the Service, other users or third parties at risk, we may suspend access as a precaution and will let you know.

6. Your data and your customers’ data

Everything you enter or that is generated in your account (customers, bookings, transactions, tickets, files, etc.) is yours ("Business Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process and display it only to provide the Service, give support, keep it secure and comply with the law.

For the personal data of your customers, the Business is the controller and Clapp is a processor: it processes that data on behalf of the Business and following its instructions. Annex A (Data Processing Agreement) is part of these terms.

You are responsible for telling your customers how you use their data (Clapp offers a public privacy policy and consent tools in Settings → Privacy and data (GDPR)), for obtaining the required consents and for answering their requests.

We may use aggregated, anonymized information about the use of the Service (which does not identify your business or any person) to improve it.

7. Third-party integrations

If you connect third-party services (Mercado Pago, ARCA, Meta’s WhatsApp, Google, shipping companies, Slack, Discord, webhooks or your own email server), your relationship with them is governed by their own terms. Clapp only exchanges with those services the data needed for the integration you turned on.

Clapp does not handle the money you collect: online payments are processed by Mercado Pago or another provider you connect, and the money goes straight to your account with that provider.

Invoices you issue with the ARCA integration are generated with your credentials and under your tax responsibility. Check that the data is correct; Clapp does not provide accounting or tax services.

We are not responsible for failures, changes or outages of third-party services, although we will make reasonable efforts to adapt the integrations.

8. Availability, support and security

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and working well, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, failures or causes beyond our control. Unless we agree on a service level in writing, we do not guarantee a specific availability.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures: encryption in transit, hashed passwords, encrypted integration credentials, two-step verification, activity logs and backups. If an incident affects your data, we will notify you without undue delay.

Support is provided through the channels published in the app, on business days.

9. Intellectual property

The software, the Clapp brand, the designs and the documentation belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active.

If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely to improve the Service, with no obligation to you.

10. Cancellation, suspension and what happens to your data

You can stop using Clapp at any time. Before closing your account, export what you need from Reports and downloads.

We may suspend or close an account if it seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, if the law requires it, or if a free account is inactive for more than 12 months (in that case, with prior notice by email).

After closure we keep the Business Data for 90 days so you can recover it, and then we delete or anonymize it, except what we must keep by law (for example, Clapp’s own billing). Backups are deleted in their normal rotation cycle.

11. Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, indirect damages or data loss caused by your team’s use of the Service or by third-party services.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid Clapp in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it.

You will hold us harmless from third-party claims (including from your customers) arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or the law.

Nothing above limits rights granted to you by consumer protection law or other mandatory rules that cannot be waived.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 15 days in advance and ask you to accept the new version to keep using Clapp. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, unless a mandatory rule provides for a different jurisdiction.

Annex A — Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

This annex applies when Clapp processes personal data of the Business’s customers, with the Business as controller and Clapp as processor, under Law 25.326 (Argentina), the LGPD (Brazil), the GDPR (European Union, art. 28) and equivalent rules.

  • Subject matter: providing the Service (scheduling, customer management, payments, communications, portals, tickets and whatever the Business turns on) for as long as the account exists.
  • Data: whatever the Business enters or collects with Clapp: identification and contact details, bookings and history, payments, messages, custom fields and, if the Business so decides, other data it configures.
  • Instructions: Clapp processes the data only on the Business’s instructions, which are these terms and the settings it makes in the app.
  • Confidentiality: Clapp staff with access are bound by confidentiality and access data only when needed for support or security.
  • Security: Clapp maintains the measures described in section 8.
  • Sub-processors: the Business authorizes the providers listed below. We will give advance notice of changes to that list; the Business may object on reasonable grounds and, failing agreement, close the account.
  • Data subject rights: Clapp offers tools to answer access, rectification, portability, objection and erasure requests (export, anonymize, consent and request logs) and assists the Business when needed.
  • Incidents: Clapp notifies the Business without undue delay of any security breach affecting its data, with the information available so it can meet its obligations.
  • International transfers: data is hosted in the United States. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or other valid mechanisms.
  • End of service: on termination, Clapp deletes or anonymizes the data as described in section 10, unless the law requires keeping it.
  • Audit: Clapp makes available to the Business the information reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance with this annex.
